State Health Policy Leaders Examine Reform Landscape

Health care reformStarting with an assessment of how far the U.S. health system still has to go and ending with a look back at how far it’s already come, state policy leaders got a wide range of perspectives at the 27th Annual State Health Policy Conference. Elizabeth Bradley, professor at Yale’s School of Public Health and director of the Yale Global Health Initiative, opened the three-day conference with sobering conclusions about why the expensive U.S. health system doesn’t  yield better results, particularly compared with other relatively wealthy nations according to a recent post at California Healthline.
