The California Department of Insurance  announced that malpractice rate rollbacks on policies offered by the Medical Protection Company (MedPro) and NCMIC Insurance Company will save doctors and other medical providers nearly $4 million annually in premiums. These companies joined three others whose rates were recently lowered as a result of action taken by CA insurance commission Dave Jones according to a report in Healthcare Finance News.
